Hispanic Radio for Valentine’s Day

I wrote a transcreation of a manifesto-type idea created for Valentine’s Day in the Anglo general market. The client wanted a straight translation with a simple read, but I decided to push further. The idea was to generate a manifesto about a love beyond romance. My goal was to develop the voice of the girl next door – the one other kids have a crush on. It’s the voice of that girl that was too good of a friend for you to date. The idea of the girl next door is universal and works across cultures, which is what makes this spot stronger than a plain read.  The cast and the authentic delivery of the scrip were right on the money. In addition, Rumble Studios composed a track that complemented the spot perfectly. It has awesome written all over. <Listen radio spot>
